CHOCOLATE SPIDERS

Hey everyone,
So the name "chocolate spiders" isn't exactly appetizing but I assure you that these peanut butter chocolate treats are super delicious! They are also sometimes referred to as "Birds Nests". If your a fan of Reece's Peanut Butter Cups then you will think these are delicious! Perfect to serve at a party as they each have their own individual wrapping and therefore are clean and hygienic.
Ingredients:
200g Cooking Chocolate
1 Pack Crunchy Cooking Noodles
Peanut Butter

I recently put a video version of  this "Chocolate Spiders" recipe on my YouTube so if you prefer to listen rather than read you can watch it by click play above ^
Step 1: Firstly you have to melt your chocolate in a heatproof bowl. I use 100g dark chocolate and 100g milk chocolate because I find that it gives a great taste balance. Place it in the microwave for about 30 seconds then stir and put it in for another 30 seconds.
Step 2: The peanut butter you use doesn't really matter but I love to use lots of it because I love anything that tastes like peanuts. I personally like mixing whipped peanut butter and peanut butter crunchy. Add it to the mixtures, mix it in a bit and then put it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds.
Step 3: Now it's time to add your noodles so just tip them all in and gradually combine them with the chocolate. Be sure to do this nearly straight after you take the peanut butter/chocolate mixture out of the microwave because the chocolate will begin to harden if left for too long.
Step 4: Evenly spoon the mixture into cupcake wrappers and pop them in the fridge for 20-30 minutes or until you want to eat them. I recommend keeping them in the fridge permanently because (especially in the Australian heat) the chocolate can melt.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe on these delicious peanut buttery chocolate treats!
