♥ VALENTINES DAY BREAKFAST ♥

Hey girls,
So Valentines Day is quickly approaching and I have a couple of food ideas that I think would be perfect for the day so this is the first recipe of more to come. If you haven't had time to buy a present then your gift to your special someone can be breakfast in bed!
Ingredients:
2 eggs
Onion
Tomato
Chives
Spring Onions
Parmesan Cheese
Hash Browns
Toast Decorator
Ice Cube Tray
Juice

Step 1: Omelet
a.) Dice up your ingredients and put them to the side.
b.) With a fork, beat up your eggs in a bowl.
c.) You can add any spices or herbs that you would like to.
d.) Pour into onto a lightly greased pan too cook.
Step 2: Hashbrowns
You can cook your hashbrowns in the oven, microwave on crisp function, light pan fry or deep fry.

Step 3: Toast
I found this super adorable toast design that print the message "I Love You" on your toast, I thought it was a super cute touch and perfect for Valentines Day!

Step 4: Presentation
To make things look a little nicer you can add some grated cheese and spring onions to your omelet and a little dish of sauce.

Step 5: Drink
You can also add a drink of some juice, I found this adorable little ice cube try that make ice shaped like a love heart to put in your juice.
So it's really simple but quite a cute and delicious Valentines Day gift!

MY WEEK IN FOOD #3

Hey girls,
This is the third "My Week In Food" so I'm just going to include a couple of photos of food I managed
to take photos of during the week, hope you enjoy!
I adore macarons but they are just such a pain to bake so sometimes premade ones
are just so much easier! Strawberry and pistachio are my favourite!
I have been loving Italian food recently so definitely bruchetta and pasta!
I have grown quite obsessed to the McDonalds Apple Pies which I know is soooo incredibly
bad but they are just so darn tasty! Seriously have had so many of these this week!
I have been snacking on sushi soooo much recently, I love it! I specifically adore the
spicy chicken rolls, anything with avacado and nigiri!
Best noodles ever!
Of course more maccas..don't judge me! It's almost embarrassing doing these
but I find them interesting so maybe some of you like them :)
Oh and the frappes McDonalds offer are absolutely delicious!! Seriously recommend trying them :)
So that's my week in food, I hope you enjoyed!

MACADAMIA MAPLE SYRUP PANCAKES!

Hey girls,
I have a pancake recipe for you today! I have have a Rocky Road Pancakes recipe already but this one is a little different because they are Macadamia Maple Syrup Pancakes!

  Ingredients:
  1 1/2 cups milk
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups White Wings self-raising flour
1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/3 cup caster sugar
25g butter, melted
Step 1: Whisk milk, egg and vanilla together in a jug.
Step 2: Sift in the flour and bicarbonate of soda.
Step 3: Stir in sugar. Whisk until just combined.
Step 4: Melt the butter and use it to grease the pan.
Step 5: Pour the mixture onto the pan and wait for it to bubble before flipping it over to cook on the other side.
Step 6: To be more efficient in cooking all of your mixture you can cook multiple ones at once! Just make sure that all of the pancakes are at different stages so you don't have to try and flip them all at once.
Step 7: Now it's the fun part which is adding the toppings onto your pancakes!! You can choose anything you like; flavored toppings, nuts, chocolates..anything you want really!
I'm using macadamia nuts and Maple Syrup for mine because it's delicious!

So here is the finished product in all it's syrup nutty glory!

SMORES

Hey girls,
Smores are one of my favourite treats and they are so easy to make and I wasn't even going to do a recipe for this one but some of you might be interested or haven't heard of Smores before.

Ingredients:
Pastry Biscuits
Marshmallows
Chocolate
The pastry biscuits I'm using are Arnott's Lattice because they have an amazing glaze.
I'm using pink and white Pascall marshmallows
I'm using Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate but feel free to use dark, white or whatever other chocolate you want.
Step 1: Lay out as many biscuits as you want, plain side up.
Step 2: Place two little bricks of chocolate onto each biscuit and pop it into the microwave for about 40 seconds.
Step 3: Make sure you don't leave your chocolate in for too long because sometimes you can't tell that the chocolate is melted because it keeps it's shape. After it comes out of the microwave, use a knife to spread all the chocolate around the biscuit so that it's evenly distributed and you get some in every bite.
Step 4: Place the same amount of biscuits you did before, plain side up again. Place a marshmallow on top.
Step 5: Pop it in the microwave for about 10 seconds and then press the marshmallow down a bit with your finger so it flattens and cools in that shape.
Step 6: Stick a chocolate biscuit side and a marshmallow biscuit side together and your smores are all finished!
